Suresh Kalmadi, who is on trial for alleged irregularities in orgainsing the 2010 Commonwealth Games, on Saturday made it clear he is going to attend the London Olympics and accused the sports minister of "vilifying" him. "I have not been convicted yet--why are people trying to stop me from going to Olympics?" Kalmadi, a Congress MP, told a press conference in his constituency of Pune. "No charge has been proven against me; how can I be called corrupt?" said Kalmadi, who was chairman of the Commonwealth Games organising committee. "There is a misinformation campaign against me by the sports ministry," he alleged.
