UPA nominee Pranab Mukherjee is to reach Kolkata today as part of his campaign. Reports say he will meet Mamata Banerjee and TMC MLAs on Monday in a bid to convince them to vote for him. The Congress has extended the hope that Mamata will ultimately back a Bengali for President. Not doing so, it says would send out a wrong message to the people of West Bengal.
