Varun Gandhi, the BJP leader, lashed out at his cousin sister, Priyanka Gandhi today for calling him a "Gandhi who has lost his way." Priyanka addressed the Congress party workers in Sultanpur, in a meeting yesterday, where she said that Varun had been led astray and that it was Sultanpur's duty to vote him out.

Varun Gandhi said that "I have never crossed the lakshman rekha of decency whether it is my family or any senior member of any political party in my speeches." Varun Gandhi, in view of Priyanka Gandhi's outright accusations, warned Priyanka by saying that his inherent decency and large-heartedness better not be mistaken and construed as his weakness by any means.
