Senior Leader LK Advani will meet Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha later today, looking to arrive at a consensus candidate. Jayalalithaa, along with BJD chief Naveen Patnaik had earlier proposed the name of former speaker, PA Sangma for the president's post, but the situation remains fluid, and speculation is rife that Jaya may reconsider her backing of Sangma.
