Former telecom minister A Raja has been permitted by a Delhi court to visit his home state of Tamil Nadu this week. Mr Raja, who was released from jail last month, plans to arrive in Chennai on Friday; he has permission to stay in Tamil Nadu till the 22nd. Mr Raja's constituency is Nilgiris. Mr Raja is from the DMK, which was voted out of power in last year's state elections, partly because it had come to be associated with relentless corruption.
