A 7-year-old student got his arm fractured after he was allegedly beaten by the principal of a private school near here. Vasu (7), who studies in Yuva Shakti Day Boarding School, was allegedly beaten up by the school principal over some trivial matter and then locked in the classroom for over three hours, his grandfather R D Sharma alleged. After the boy's medical examination confirmed that he had multiple fractures in his arm, his family lodged a complaint with police against the principal. Vasu's parents alleged that the principal tried to hush up the matter by offering them money and even threatened to use his political connections against them.
