A shocking incident took place in Haryana's Rohtak district, where two motorcycle-borne youths threw acid on an 17-year-old girl, who is also a promising volleyball player. Doctors attending on the girl said that she had sustained 20 percent burns on her face, including on her mouth and eyes. The victim 17-year-old Ritu Saini was taken to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences here with burn injuries on her face and chest. The youth managed to escape but police are hopeful of a breakthrough.
