A teenager, who was the main witness in his mother's rape case, was burnt alive in Nawada district in Bihar. It is alleged that 17-year-old Chintu Kumar was set on fire by those accused in the rape of his mother in 2006. Villagers say, the accused locked the house when Chintu was in and set it on fire. Chintu's mother was gangraped in 2006 by five villagers. Chintu was being threatened to withdraw the case and not appear as a witness in the court. But he had refused to give in to threats, and was due to appear in court.
