LK Advani, the BJP's most senior leader, received a house call from Narendra Modi this morning to persuade him to run for parliament for a sixth term from Gandhinagar in Gujarat. In a sign that suggests Mr Modi did not close the deal, the BJP then deputed Sushma Swaraj to Mr Advani's home for what's being reported by sources as another attempt at reconciliation.
