Tripura Governor DY Patil is in the middle of a controversy. A retired defence officer Col Suresh Patil claimed that the Governor messaged him to "tone down" his agitation against the allotment of "defence A1" land for President Pratibha Patil in Pune. The whistleblower alleged that the Tripura Governor sent an emissary to his residence to abandon his agitation.
