The Maoists have again dared the state, after the abduction of Italian tourists and a BJD MLA, the Naxals have kidnapped the District collector of Sukma Alex Pal Menon. The District magistrate was abducted from Keralapal area in Sukma District in Chhattisgarh. The DM's convoy was attacked by 14-15 Maoists. His two bodyguards were shot dead and he was abducted on a motorcycle by the Maoists. The state govt has appealed to Naxals to free the abducted DM.
