The latest case of abandonment of girl child is from Gurgaon adjoining the national capital... where an unidentified couple left their one-and-a-half-month-old baby girl unclaimed in the civil hospital. The incident was reported on Thursday morning. Police officers said that the couple left the baby with an old woman. They had told her that they would bring medicine for the baby but never returned. The baby has now been kept in the civil hospital and doctors say she's in good health.
