It's a big day in the Aarushi Talwar case... in particular the future of her parents who are accused of murdering her. The Supreme Court will hear today the Talwars' plea against the non-bailable warrant issued to Nupur Talwar... for failing to turn up in the CBI court on Wednesday. Nupur Talwar herself remains untraceable, seemingly evading arrest. However, Mrs Talwar's lawyer Mukul Rohatgi said his client "is not running away and she will be present in the Supreme Court". Trouble for Nupur Talwar in the form of the latest non-bailable warrant has come... after she deliberately violated court directives.
On the 13th of March... the Allahabad High court had directed Nupur Talwar to appear before the CBI court within 30 days. Nearly 2 weeks later... the Supreme Court turned down a plea to stay the Talwars' trial. Then on the 9th of April, the CBI sought punitive action against Nupur Talwar saying she provided false information to the Allahabad High Court.
