India News : The bloodbath in the Indian rupee continued on Wednesday with the currency breaching the 67 levels against the U.S. dollar right at the opening trades. The rupee fell over 1.5 per cent to hit 67.42 as against Tuesday's close of 66.24.

Stock markets tracked rupee weakness and slipped over 1 per cent in early trades. The BSE Sensex fell over 200 points, while the 50-share Nifty benchmark traded 70 points lower at 5,215.
