There's a twist in the tale in the arrest of journalist Saiyad Ahmed Kazmi in the Israel diplomat attack case. The entire journalistic fraternity has come together to stand behind Kazmi, demanding his immediate release and out rightly rejecting allegations that he had any connection with the attack. A delegation of journalists on behalf of Delhi Union of Journalists met Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ambika Soni. Condemning Kazmi's arrest made in a highly suspicious and illegal manner, senior journalist Saeed Naqvi termed it as an attack on the freedom of press.
