After yesterday's election debacle in Uttar Pradesh, Bahujan Samajwadi Party leader Mayawati has submitted her resignation to Uttar Pradesh governor B L Joshi. The BSP chief is expected to address a press conference at her party office in Lucknow at noon. Out of Uttar Pradesh's 403 seats, Mayawati won 80 seats, less than half the amount she had racked up in 2007.
