New Delhi: The six murders reported in east Delhi within a span of two hours left those living in the area shocked.
Around 250 residents gathered at the spot of the Vivek Vihar murder and put up roadblocks near the Vivek Vihar underpass for over three hours. They raised slogans against the government and police and also refuted police's claim that they have nullified the threat posed by Bangladeshi gangs.
With no arrests so far in the Karkardooma cash van loot case and the recent murder of a teacher after she had resisted snatchers, locals say it is high time police increase security in the area.
