Delhi: Taking a dig at Modi, he questioned why Modi had written a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and asked for a meeting of all the chief ministers on the Food Security Bill. Saying that it seemed as if Modi didn't trust the BJP's Parliamentary Party to raise the issues, he said that it appeared as if Modi did not have confidence in Sushma Swaraj.

At the same time, he also tweeted that the BJP and its icon wanted to deprive the poor of food security and had shown its true colours as being anti-poor. He said that this showed that the BJP was against all pro-poor initiatives.
