Supreme Court has issued a notice to Air India to pay minimum compensation of Rs 75 lakhs each to families of 158 victims of Mangalore air crash on May 22, 2010. Earlier, in August last year, the Kerala High Court had overturned a single judge order awarding the same compensation amount to victims. As of now, compensation as low as Rs 12 lakhs has been distributed to the affected.
