Six people, including two children, have died in the Moula Ali area on the outskirts of Hyderabad after a wall collapsed on them at 1 am. Rescue workers pulled out two people from the debris.
The wall of an old building compound was reportedly damaged by the heavy rain that has lashed Andhra Pradesh over the last two days. Families of labours from Ranga Reddy and Mahbubnagar districts were living by the side in makeshift shelters.
