Kolkata fire: AMRI directors in 10-day police custody

Directors of AMRI have been remanded to 10 days police custody. Directors have been produced in court after fire broke out at AMRI hospital in Kolkata on Friday leaving 90 dead. The fire began in the basement stocked with inflammable materials and medical wastes. It spread swiftly and the poisonous smoke was sucked in by air conditioning ducts and carried through the rooms and corridors of the seven-storied hospital.
