India set to test ICBM Agni 5 in February

India will test its first Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile, the Agni-5, in Feb. 2012. This will extend the reach of India's nuclear weapons to over 5,000 km. So far, India has a maximum missile range of over 3000 km. India will join the select group off five other nations who have this capability. Agni-5 will have the capability to evade missile shields with manoeuvre re-entry.
