India News: Union minister and congress spokesperson Charan Das Mahant alleged that BJP was behind the naxal attack on congress convoy, and that there was a conspiracy which was organized by state government.

While talking to India News correspondent Satendra Kumar Singh he said "if high profile politicians are travelling in sensitive area, then it's a state government's responsibility to provide enough security".

Charan Das Mahant, Union minister and sole Congress MP from Chhattisgarh, demanded that the Centre impose President's rule in the state. "This is serious. The state gave us permission for yatra in the Naxal zone. It had to provide security too. The Centre has to intervene on this serious issue or the people will lose hope," he said.
