All 400 nurses of Lilawati Hospital in Mumbai have been on strike since Friday night. They are angry about Balasaheb Thackeray's personal assistant's behavior. Ravi Mhatre, the personal assistant, had admitted his daughter at Lilawati but wanted the chief nurse to accompany his daughter, however, she refused. The chief nurse was later suspended by the hospital; she was re-instated after nurses in the hospital put pressure on hospital authorities.
