India News: Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal resigns on Thursday evening after Sonia Gandhi met the Prime Minister to discuss his fate.

Speculations are rife that Ashwani Kumar will be the next to resign.According to TV sources, after sacrificing a goat for good luck he marched towards Rail Bhavan reportedly to clear his files.

Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal, under a cloud over his nephew's alleged involvement in bribery for a plum railway board posting, did not attend office till Friday afternoon.
