India News: : The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday filed a nine-page affidavit with the Supreme Court in the case of alleged irregularities in coal block allocations, saying changes in the draft status report it submitted to the court were made in consultation with law minister Ashwani Kumar, the Prime Minister's Office and the Attorney General of India.

A key paragraph was deleted at Kumar's behest in a meeting that took place in the law minister's office.
