India News: The BJP on Saturday said a special team should be set up to probe the coal allocation scam — popularly called 'Coalgate' — in the wake of a report that the Centre had been meddling with the inquiry being conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Following a newspaper report that the UPA government had "vetted" the CBI's probe report before its submission to the Supreme Court, the BJP accused the ruling UPA of being a "rogue government" and charged it with "interference in the administration of justice" by not allowing the CBI to acquaint the apex court with the full truth.
