Thane: Top civic officials and a Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) corporator have been arrested in the Thane building collapse case that has claimed 73 lives so far.

Thane police commissioner KP Raghuvanshi confirmed they have arrested builders Salim Shaikh and Jamaal Qureshi. While Qureshi was caught from Uttar Pradesh, Shaikh was arrested from Thane.
