The Patiala rape horror has been another shocker. The victim of rape had committed suicide after the police did not act against her perpetrators. The cops took 14 days to register a case and arrested the accused nearly 30 days after the registration of the FIR on Wednesday night when the girl ended her life.

On Friday, on the CM's orders, the Punjab state govt has constituted a high level team to probe the circumstances leading to the suicide of a rape victim belonging to village Badshahpur in Patiala district.
