Dense fog disrupted operations at the IGI airport for the second night in a row.Over 120 flight schedules were affected . 18 flights had to be diverted. 3 international and 15 domestic flights were diverted to Jaipur, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bangalore, Hyderabad.

The fog descended on the airport at around 10.15 pm. And by morning, visibility had dropped to zero. The runway visibility was less than 25 meters on the third runway. It dipped to 150 m on the main runway.
