Describing Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh's statement on chief medical officer (CMO) murder case as misleading, the Bahujan Samaj Party has said Singh should first explain to the people about the series of scams taking place under UPA regime.
Reacting to Singh's statement that CMO's murder was a fallout of corruption in BSP government, party spokesman said two ministers of the government resigned after the murder upholding high standards of parliamentary ethics, whereas Congress has been protecting its leaders responsible for Adarsh housing, 2G and CWG scams. Even the Prime Minister's Office was under cloud in S-Band scam in Isro, he added.
BSP spokesman said that law and order has collapsed in Congress ruled states. He cited examples of government and police officials being burnt alive in Maharashtra and Rajasthan in recent times.
