In conjunction with the Genting Founder’s Day, Genting Group and Universiti Malaya signed an MoU on Thursday to set up and operate a Dementia Care Centre in Segambut. Genting Bhd chairman Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay said the centre is purpose-built and designed with input from clinicians at UM’s Geriatric Division to offer day care services for people suffering from dementia. Also present was Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
