circulating since the beginning of the year. The German designer was best known for his signature black sunglasses and white ponytail. Tributes from other leaders in the fashion world
have poured in since the news broke. Donatella Versace, via Instagram Victoria Beckham, via Instagram Lagerfeld began his legendary career
back in the 1950s. He went on to become the creative director at
Italian brand Fendi in 1965 and then France's Chanel in 1983, a position he held until his death. In addition, he owned his own label
which was named after himself. Lagerfeld's impact on fashion stemmed from his products being available to the upper and
lower classes.
