Good morning, cold northerly winds blew away the dust in the capital overnight, while the rest of country except Jeju are still dealing with polluted air. Central areas will see improved air quality by the afternoon,... while the southern provinces will have to wait until later in the day.

A colder morning is well underway for the capital areas, but as long as we can breathe in better air that shouldn't be a problem. Readings will stay below the seasonal norms so dress a bit warmer than yesterday, we'll see some temperature fluctuations toward the end of the week.

Taking a closer look at today's temperatures, morning lows in most areas are a few notches lower than yesterday, Seoul and Daejeon at minus 6 degrees Celsius, plenty of sunshine ahead of us for most areas.

Daily highs will enter positive territory, Seoul getting up to 3 degrees this afternoon, mid to upper single digits for most areas.
