Ingredients:
3-4 tbsp Gram flour
3-4 tbsp Curd
Salt
1/2 tbsp Red Chilli powder
Garam Masala powder
Cumin seeds powder
Turmeric powder
Coriander powder
Oil
Coriander leaves, chopped
1/2 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
350 gms Paneer
Carom seeds
Oil for frying

For the gravy
Oil
Bay leaf
2 Green Chillies, chopped
12-15 Cashew Nuts
1 1/2 Onion, chopped
4-5 Cloves
1 Cinnamon stick
3-4 Green Cardamom
Black Cardamom
1/2 tbsp Red Chilli powder
Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Coriander powder
1 tbsp Cumin seed powder
Salt
Water
1/2 cup Tomato puree
3 Tomatoes, grounded
Dried Fenugreek leaves
Coriander leaves, chopped
1/2 Lemon juice


Method of preparation:
Dry roast gram flour in a pan on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
In a bowl of curd, add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, cumin seeds powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, oil, coriander leaves and mix well.
Add the roasted gram flour, mix well and marinate the paneer in it.
Sprinkle carom seeds on it and keep it aside to marinade for /2 an hour.
Shallow fry the paneer and take it out on a plate.

For the gravy
Heat oil in a vessel, add bay leaf, green chillies, cashew nuts, onion and saute them.
Add cloves, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, black cardamom, saute it and keep it aside to cool down.
Once the mixture cools down, add water and grind it into a paste.
Add the paste in a pan, followed by red chilli, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, some water, tomato puree, grounded tomato, dried fenugreek leaves, coriander leaves, fried paneer, lemon juice, mix well and let it cook.
Our Paneer Tikka Masala is ready to serve.
