THUNDER BAY - WEATHER - Day two with no weather alerts or warnings for Northwestern Ontario. That is not to say weather over the next couple of days isn't going to impact people in our region.
Southern Ontario is under Special Weather Statements as a winter storm is headed into the region. Additionally, the National Weather Service in the United States is tracking a storm which is predicting snow for Duluth and the region as well as predicting it will track over the north shore of Lake Superior.
The National Weather Service in Duluth report, "A system will lift snow showers into the Northland from the south later this morning before ending from west to east late this afternoon and evening. Areas along and south of Minnesota Highway 210 will see 1-2” of snow with 1-3” for northwest Wisconsin. Lake effect snow will then be seen tonight into Monday along the North Shore of Lake Superior with 1-2” being possible."
