Bryan Singer’s Name Erased From BAFTA Nomination for ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ director Bryan Singer
has been under fire recently for a number of allegations. Singer was fired from ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’
due to clashes with producers and is currently
facing allegations of sexual misconduct. Although he denies the allegations,
they have yet to be formally proven or disproven. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts have found the claims disturbing enough to warrant the removal of his name from the competition. Statement, via BAFTA.org The Queen biopic has a total of seven nominations at the upcoming February 10 award show, with Singer previously being credited in the best British film category. Producer Graham King and writer Anthony McCarten’s names will remain on the nomination, with the stipulation that Singer’s
name will remain suspended
until the allegations have been
properly resolved.
