Police have arrested 16 suspects, including the alleged leader of a secret society, in the course of investigating the case of a 57-year-old man who was kidnapped in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.

The suspects including three women were arrested in a series of raids in various locations around Johor Baru and in Kuala Lumpur.
 
The man was kidnapped on Jan 27 while he was jogging with a friend and the kidnappers demanded a ransom of RM1.8mil for his release.
