Incredible aerial footage from Grand River near Cambridge, Ontario, shows frozen ice hurtling downstream after a rise in temperature rapidly thawed the impact of the polar vortex.

"The surge of temperature melted frozen river surfaces along Grand River," said the filmer, who shot the footage Tuesday. "This mesmerizing view lasted about an hour or two," he added.
