Ever since the trailer of the upcoming film Begum Jaan has released, everyone has been raving about all the strong performances by the strong actresses in it. The main and titular role of Begum Jaan is played by Vidya Balan herself but the pillars to the story, the supporting characters of Begum Jaan's 1940 set popular brothel on the land between what is now India and Pakistan, are also equally important. The roles of Amma, Rubina and Gulabo are portrayed by actresses Ila Arun, Gauhar Khan and Pallavi Sharda respectively. All three of them have shown us their fierce avatars in the trailer and they tell us the hardships along with the many fun moments that went behind creating the masterpiece that is Begum Jaan in this EXCLUSIVE interview.

Begum Jaan also stars male actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Chunky Pandey and Rajit Kapoor in important roles. Begum Jaan is directed by Srijit Mukherjee and produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt under their banner Vishesh films. Begum Jaan is all set to hit the theaters on 14th April, 2017.
