Basant Panchami is celebrated by Hindus in India, Nepal and other countries with much enthusiasm and vigour. Basant Panchami, or as some say Vasant Panchami, marks the beginning of the spring season - Basant means spring and Panchami means "the fifth day". माघ शुक्ल पक्ष की पंचमी को बसंत पंचमी का पर्व मनाया जाता है। इस बार यह पावन पर्व 10 फरवरी को मनाया जाएगा। यह पावन तिथि ज्ञान की देवी मां सरस्वती की साधना-आराधना के लिए समर्पित है। विद्या-बुद्धि एवं परीक्षा में सफलता जैसी तमाम मनोकामनाओं को पूरा करने के लिए आखिर किस विधि से की जाए मां सरस्वती की साधना। इस साल बसंत पचंमी का त्योहार 10 फरवरी को मनाया जाएगा।
