An all-party meeting was held ahead of the Budget Session of the Parliament on Thursday. Several leaders across the political spectrum were in attendance at the meeting. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu headed the session. The Congress party has issued a three-line whip to all its MPs in the Rajya Sabha, asking them to remain present in the house today and tomorrow and “support the party stand”. The Budget Session will commence on February 01.
