An office worker from Hungary was spooked when they thought a sound coming from the bathroom was a man screaming on Monday (January 28).

The strange noise turned out to be a tap that was giving off a bizarre sound similar to the deep tones of a grown man screaming in pain.

After the short-lived investigation by the filmer, the mystery was revealed and anxieties about screaming men were lifted.

The filmer said: "This was taken in the restroom of our office, the faucet had a human voice every time the hot water is pouring out of it.

"Still, hearing this when you’re alone in the office at night is scary."
