The Uttar Pradesh cabinet approved the Ganga-Expressway for the purpose of connecting Prayagraj to Western UP. During cabinet briefing in Prayagraj, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the expressway which will be world’s longest expressway connecting various important areas. “We have taken some decisions today, especially related to connectivity of Prayagraj. Cabinet has decided to make Ganga-Expressway for this purpose. This will be world's longest expressway, approximately 600 km, it will take 6,556 hectares of land and will cost approximately Rs 36,000 crore,” he said.
