Estranged Congress MLA from Chincholi Dr Umesh Jadhav, has ‘almost decided’ to sever his ties with the Congress party and throw his weight behind the BJP so that he can contest the coming Lok Sabha election.

ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಬಂದರೇ, ಲೋಕಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುವುದು. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋತರೆ ಚಿಂಚೋಳಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದಲೇ ಹೇಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೆ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದು ಜಾಧವ್​​ರ​​ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿವೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್​​ ಆಪ್ತ ಮೂಲಗಳು.
