Humsafar Express is started on 16 December 2016 between Anand Vihar Terminal ( Delhi ) to Gorakhpur ( Uttar Pradesh ). Humsafar Express is announced in the rail budget of 2016-17.

Champaran Humsafar Express in started on 10 April 2018 by Indian Railways and its inauguration by our honorable Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Damodar Das Modi. Champaran Humsafar Express currently being operated with 15705/15706 train numbers on bi-weekly basis.

Humsafar Express completely 3-tier AC sleeper with features of LED screen display to show information about stations, train speed etc. and will have announcement system as well, Vending machines for tea, coffee and milk, Bio toilets in compartments as well as CCTV cameras.

Average Speed of Champaran Humsafar Express is 49 km/h. 15706 Humsafar Express starts from Delhi Junction covering 1473 km in 29 hrs 35 min.

15706 is running from delhi to katihar on Tuesday and Friday.
