Ebba the dog has developed an unusual habit of sliding on her belly on snow - behaviour more associated with penguins than canines.

The 9-year-old crossbreed from Hammerfest in Norway just loves to charge down snowy slopes, dive onto her front or back and then let gravity do the work.

"The harder the snow, the better, because that gives more speed downhill," her owner said.
