Gunman Shoots Several People in Attempted Florida Bank Robbery The incident caused nearby business in the town of Sebring to shut down. Authorities say the suspect turned himself in after a SWAT team
stormed the building. The gunman originally called police to say he had fired shots at a
SunTrust Bank. Police have not yet commented on the number of injured people or if there were any fatalities. The Sebring Police Department did confirm in an earlier statement that there were “several people down.”
