CNN reports a 113-year-old Japanese man, recognized as the world's oldest male by the Guinness Book of World Records, died on Sunday.

Masazo Nonaka, a resident of Hokkaido, was born July 25th, 1905.

Nonaka's family noticed Sunday morning he was no longer breathing. The family said he appeared to be in good health on Saturday.

Guiness World Records named Nonaka the world's oldest man in April of 2018 when he reached the age of 112.
