According to Business Insider, a newborn infant was found dead, inside of a trash can, inside of a Phoenix, Arizona Amazon warehouse on Wednesday.
The gender of the child was not clear. Police say that the baby was beyond the point of resuscitation when first responders arrived on the scene.
Amazon described the situation as a "terribly sad and tragic incident." They are cooperating with police as they investigate.
